More Questions

What happens to my secret?

When you post a secret, two things happen. The secret gets displayed and your friends get hints. The hints help you figure out if secrets are from friends but not which friend wrote the secret.

How can it be anonymous if it gets emailed?

The text of the secret is anonymously sent from our servers.

Why do I need three friends?

If you have one friend, any secret you get, would be from that person. A minimum prevents it from being obvious.

Can you figure out who posted?

You are sending a secret to your friends, if I were to figure out which people got the secret, I would know who submitted the secret. In short, be careful what you post, because you are posting a secret on the internet.

Why do I get so many emails?

You get an email for every secret your friends' confess. If you have tons of friends, you get lots of secrets. If you use gmail, all your secrets are grouped together with no effort. We like gmail.

Who do I contact about the site.

If you want to contact me, email me at paul at socialmoth.com.

Other people that helped.

Katy, for the initial suggestion, Tonya for participating, and Dino for sarcasm. Moeko and Ben for being the first two people who made me think that other people would like the site too.
